| I am working to finish my B.S. in
Animation at DePaul. Though I primarily work in 3D, I have experience
and training in traditional methods such as hand-drawn and
stop-motion animation. I began my
collegiate career at DePaul as a sophomore in the Fall of 2007.
Before taking any formal courses, I had about eight years of
self-taught animation and modeling in 3D Studio Max. Though
not the greatest work, I was able to grasp the essence of working
and animating in 3D. Before delving into the computer
animation world, I had what I believe to be the typical
animator-to-be experience with clay, cut-out, and Lego man
animation.
In the Fall, I plan on attending USC to earn
my MFA in animation.
My single biggest childhood influence has to be the Super Nintendo.
I still believe many of its games to eclipse the effectiveness of
modern games. The simplicity is no longer necessity on current
consoles, but the mantra of "simple yet effective" has long guided
my work. |
